Silom is Bangkok’s main financial district. However, during Thai New Year this place transforms into the biggest and best place to experience water fighting in Bangkok. The whole street is closed to traffic with people carrying water guns. In addition, there’s lots of supplies for Songkran and street food offer along the entire road. Since Silom is closed to traffic, we suggest you to take the MRT to Si Lom Station or the BTS to Sala Daeng and you’ll be dropped off right in the action!
